Meet The Trainers
Sarah and Ben are Idevelop's principle facilitators and they have broad experience in applying NLP in business settings. They are an example of diversity and the differences between them bring out their creativity and support them to keep on learning about one another.
All the trainers on these programmes are continuously applying these practices to themselves and endeavor to be an example of diversity@work.
Our Aims
Sarah and Ben feel that if we can communicate cleanly then we can create a community where diversity and differences enhance and contribute more effectively to a self-regulating, self-learning, self-supporting and sustainable system.
Their approach is to help you become more efficient in the way you understand and deal with differences between people. They aim to create sustainable learning through working with the system so that it develops its own solutions.
They realised that at the heart of their work is diversity, becoming aware of it, harnessing it and celebrating it. They decided they would like to develop a comprehensive programme which has diversity at its heart and different contexts to apply it in. They want to develop individuals systems and systems of individuals to generate their own solutions using their diverse skills and experience.

In one form or another Ben has spent the majority of his adult life working in the field of interpersonal communications, and in the process, developing skills and insights into a wide variety of human behaviours. He studied Social Anthropology at Greenwich Uni, whilst working with street homeless people.
After many years of working for local authority homeless and social housing teams in London he was in a position to share his acquired knowledge and began working as a freelance trainer of housing law for, among others the Chartered Institute of Housing , Shelter, Sitra, Marlow Associates.
He worked for years prosecuting landlords for harassing their tenants and as a result learnt a lot about dealing with conflict and aggression. Taking these hard won skills into his training work he has, over the past 8 years been running popular and successful conflict facilitation courses up and down the country. The combination of dealing with some particularly dodgy characters for a living and teaching others how to do it means that he knows that the material really works.
Ever eager to know more, Ben took his experience and embarked on a period of further training in the wider aspects of communication and understanding human behaviour. Now he is an NLP Master Practitioner, an Authentic Business Guide and Qualified Trainer of NLP who uses his skills with both individuals and organisations, helping them to discover their own capacities for understanding each other and developing flexibility of behaviour to enhance their effectiveness and performance in elegant and measurable ways.
His courses are high on humour and personal discovery and low on chalk and talk. Originally from London he now lives in the West Country where he indulges his twin obsessions for cooking and, more bizarrely, collecting helmets……………..come in Doctor Jung, we’re ready for you now!
